A feast can be an indoor and sometimes an outdoor event or part of an event that a meal is served. Feasts will have a high table for the Baron and Baroness (or visiting Royalty) and tables set up for the populace to sit, usually you can sit where you like apart from the high table unless invited.  SCA feast are very different from restaurants because all the work is done by the populace.  People volunteer to plan, prep and cook the meals for the attendees of the event.
